Dr. Ross Duncan recently received his DMA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he had the privilege of being a Paul Collins Wisconsin Distinguished Fellow. An active performer and educator, Ross has performed with various orchestras and chamber groups in the United States and Canada and maintains a private studio in the DFW area. Before attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he also received his Master’s degree, Ross attended The Glenn Gould School in Toronto, where he received an Artist Diploma, and a B.A. in German from Bowling Green State University. He has had the privilege of studying bassoon with Marc Vallon, Fraser Jackson and Dr. Nathaniel Zeisler. When he isn’t playing the bassoon, Ross enjoys traveling, cooking and foreign languages.
